I've always thought that a lot of teachers have a good measure of OCD thrown in there to help keep the momentum going in their classrooms. I am the same way.
Above is a picture of my work area. I share a former teacher's work room with another Title I Teacher. I like to call it my little chunk of paradise. All I need now is sand, palm tree, and the sound of the Gulf of Mexico in the background. I use my kidney shape table for everything. My desk, my workspace, and my chill out area.
As a quick and colorful resource, I try to include some informative bulletin boards for both reading and math. Almost all of these bulletin boards, 95%, came from resources at the Dollar Tree.
I'm a serious OCD nut when it comes to my manipulative. As you can see from the pic, Dollar Tree is my favorite go to for not only containers but manipulatives as well.
Some selves that contain the rest of my manipulatives and resources on a couple of shelves from Ollie's. Ollie's is another great place, I mean come on their motto is "Good Stuff Cheap."
I can't wait to share this journey with you guys. Please follow the blog and let me know of anything math or reading related that you'd be interested in reading a blog about.
